“Excellent value. Deep purple color, rich berry, plum, chocolate, horse hair, flint and anise on the nose. Thick tannic mouthful, lots of fruity notes but a blushy dry structure, medicinal notes but not unpleasant. Overall balance is good with long finish. Touch on the fruity side like Bordeaus like but blended with that robustness in mind. Pair with lean steak, meat pies, dark chocolate but works well on its own."
